Software for Indian bidders and solar engineers
Priyank Rajput is a sole proprietor in Delhi, India, who makes two browser tools: Tender Radar, for suppliers bidding on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM), and Spec Sheet Normaliser, for comparing battery storage and solar module datasheets. Both run in your browser and both are free during their beta.
Products
Tender Radar
A Chrome extension that finds the ongoing bids on GeM (bidplus.gem.gov.in) that match your keywords: it highlights matching bids on the page you are browsing and can scan all of GeM's ongoing bids in one go. For each bid it reads 20 key fields from the bid PDF inside your browser, such as end date, EMD amount, turnover and experience requirements, and MSE and startup relaxations. With one click it adds the bid as a row in your own Google Sheet, reminds you before tracked bids close and adds the deadline to Google Calendar.
Who it is for: suppliers and their bid teams who bid on GeM and want to decide which bids to pursue without reading every PDF.
Install Tender Radar from the Chrome Web Store
Free daily list of solar, battery and energy-storage bids closing soon on GeM: t.me/gemsolarbids on Telegram, or the WhatsApp channel.
Spec Sheet Normaliser
A web app, also available as a Chrome side-panel extension, that turns battery energy storage and solar PV module datasheet PDFs into one comparison table: fields as rows, products as columns. Each value is converted to one unit (kWh, kW, V, kg, mm, °C), and differently named labels such as "Usable energy" and "Available energy" land in the same row. PDFs are read in your browser and nothing is uploaded; the table copies straight into a spreadsheet.
Who it is for: EPC engineers and procurement teams comparing battery storage products and solar modules from different manufacturers.
Tender Radar in detail
- Every matching GeM bid in one listMatching bid cards are highlighted on the page you are browsing, and "Scan all of GeM" searches all ongoing bids for your keywords and lists each match once, soonest deadline first.
- The bid document's 20 key fields as a row in your own Google SheetEnd date, EMD amount, turnover and experience requirements, MSE and startup relaxations and more are read from the bid PDF and written to a spreadsheet in your Google Drive.
- Nothing leaves your computerBid PDFs are read inside your browser. There is no Tender Radar server: your keywords and bids are never sent to us.
How it works
- Install the extension, open the side panel and type the keywords you bid on (for example, solar, battery, transformer).
- Open bidplus.gem.gov.in. Matching bids are highlighted; click "Scan all of GeM" to search every ongoing bid.
- Click "Extract" on a bid to read its 20 key fields from the bid document.
- Click "Connect Google Sheets" once, then "Send to Sheet" to add the bid as a row. Sent bids are tracked, and Chrome reminds you 48 hours and 24 hours before they close.
Tender Radar only reads GeM. It does not log in to your GeM account and does not submit bids.

Privacy
Neither product has a server that receives your documents, and neither contains analytics. Tender Radar talks only to GeM, from your own browser, and to Google, to write to the one spreadsheet it creates in your Drive. Spec Sheet Normaliser reads datasheets in the browser and uploads nothing. Read the Tender Radar privacy policy and the Spec Sheet Normaliser privacy policy.
